Mobile messaging app WhatsApp has started receiving a new update that brings a lot of new features, including the ability to write and draw on photos and videos that users share, as well as add emoji.
"When you capture a new photo or video or share one thats already on your phone, youll automatically see the new editing tools," team WhatsApp said in a blog post. "Whether you’re drawing a big red heart to show how much you miss someone or adding your favorite emoji - sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words. Try adding text too, and change the color and font style."
Aside from this, the update also brings along front-facing flash support for the apps camera feature, adds a zooming feature for recording videos, as well as includes the ability to quickly switch between front and rear facing cameras through a double tap.
The update is currently rolling out for users on Android, whi le iOS support is coming soon.
